「学内合同企業説明会」を開催～県内優良企業39社が参加～【3月6,7日】

平成30年3月6日（火）・7日（水）の2日間にわたり県内企業39社をお招きして「学内合同企業説明会」を開催し、企業就活スタートした3年生延べ223名が出席しました。この催しは株式会社百五銀行と株式会社第三銀行との連携事業として実施しました。
参加39社はいずれも三重県下に本社・事業所を有する優良企業であり、食品、製造、不動産・住宅、エネルギー、流通小売、金融、保険、サービス等、さまざまな業界よりお越しいただくことができました。
出席した学生は途中退室する者もなく、それぞれにメモを取り、熱心な表情で担当者の説明に聞き入っていました。
参加企業様からは、「傾聴の姿勢がとてもよく話がし易かった」「例年通り説明を聞く態度が他大学に比べ優れている印象を受けました」「就職に対し意識が高い学生が多いと感じました」という感想を頂きました。

メイヨーの「歴史ラン」に「伊勢」と日本スタディプログラムの外国人短期留学生も参加【3月6日】

3月6日(火)早朝、本学の教職員3名、「伊勢」と日本スタディプログラムの留学生4名、伊勢市民1名は今日の歴史ランに参加しました。かつて伊勢市で運行していた路面電車の線路跡を辿りながら約6キロのコースで走りました。本学の現代日本社会学部の言葉を借りて「変えるべきもの、変えてもかまわないものと、変わらないもの、変えてはならないものを理解し、変えてはならないものを守りつつ、変えるべきものを大胆に変えるという姿勢」を念頭にして、伊勢市は近現代における変遷を学びました。
Early in the morning on March 6 (Tuesday), three Kōgakkan staff and faculty members, four participants in the Ise-Japan Study Program, and one Ise resident joined the run.
The course followed the old path of the streetcar that used to run in and around Ise City. In the words of the university’s Contemporary Japanese Society department, “there are things that we must change, things we can change without worry, things that do not change, and things we must not change. While protecting the things that we must not change, we should also take bolds steps to change things that we must.” Keeping this in mind, we learned about how Ise City has handled change in the modern and contemporary periods.
今週の歴史ランでは奈良市の「転害門」、「聖武天皇陵」、「初宮神社」も見学しました。
In this week’s historical run, we also went to see sites in Nara City that included Tengaimon Gate, Emperor Shomu's Mausoleum, and Hatsumiya Shrine
メイヨーの「歴史ラン」に「伊勢」と日本スタディプログラムの外国人短期留学生も参加【3月2日】

平成30年3月2日(金)、「伊勢」と日本スタディプログラムの外国人短期留学生３名、伊勢市民１名、本学コミュニケーション学科のメイヨー・クリストファー准教授がひんやりした早朝の空気のなかで走りながら伊勢市と日本の歴史を学びました。今日の約４キロコースは今週最後の歴史ランで、今週は伊勢神宮の別宮、摂社、末社の伊勢神宮関係のところだけでなく、直接関係のない宗教団体・聖地などにも訪れることによって、日本の宗教史を多数の視点からみることができました。写真に「上田神社」と「日蓮上人誓いの井戸」が写っています。
On March 2 (Friday), three students from the Ise-Japan Study Program, one Ise City resident, and associate professor Christopher Mayo learned about the history of Ise and Japan while enjoying the brisk early morning air. Today's four-kilometer run was the last one this week, which included visits to auxiliary (betsugū), sub- (sessha), and branch (massha) shrines as well as religious groups and sacred sites that are not directly related to Ise Shrine. The photos show Ueda Shrine and the site of a well where the Buddhist priest Nichiren cleansed himself during a 100-day retreat at a temple in Ise in the 13th century.
神道の精神文化を講義（高野山大学「宗教間対話実習」を受け入れ）【2月23日】

高野山大学が、『宗教間対話実習』（「スピリチュアルケア師」資格の取得に必要な科目）の春季研修を伊勢で実施し、本学では－神道の世界観を学ぶ－をテーマに講義を行いました。
講師は本学神道学科教授の松本丘と、教育開発センター准教授の板井正斉が担当。日本の神話や神道における死生観を中心に講義を行い、受講生には神道を学問的観点から学んでいただきました。
また受講生の中にはタイからの留学生も参加しており、日本の精神文化に触れ、日本を学ぶ機会となったことでしょう。
なお、本学と高野山大学は、京都宗教系大学院連合（K-GURS）や研究分野で連携しており、大学間の親交も深まる機会となりました。

平成30年2月23日(金)早朝、「伊勢」と日本スタディプログラムの参加者３名と本学コミュニケーション学科のメイヨー・クリストファー准教授は約5キロのコースを走りながら風情のある風景を味わいつつ街の歴史を学びました。本日の目的地は伊勢神宮内宮の宇治橋であり、その前に大鳥居から昇る日の出を見ることができました。
On Friday morning, three participants in the Ise and Japan Study Program joined Associate Professor Christopher Mayo on a 5km run. On this day they visited the Inner Shrine, where they watched the sun rise through the torii in front of Ujibashi Bridge.
この一週間で伊勢市内を走り回り、楠部町の大五輪、倭町にある隠岡遺跡、澤村榮治墓所と生家跡を見学しました。
Other places they visited this week running around Ise included a large commemorative grave stone from the medieval period, the Kakuregaoka site where an archaeological dig discovered Yayoi (ca. 300 BCE to ca. 300 CE) and Heian period (794 to 1185/1192) remains, and the birth and grave sites of the baseball player Sawamura Eiji.
