　令和元年8月11日(日)早朝、 英国夏季短期留学参加者5名と本学コミュニケーション学科のメイヨー・クリストファー准教授がひんやりした早朝の空気のなかで走りながらカンタベリー市と英国の歴史を学びました。今日の約6キロコースは今週最後の歴史ランで、名所や歴史遺跡を訪れることによって、英国史に直接触れることができました。今週の歴史ランの写真には古代ローマ時代 のロンドンからの「ワトリング（Watling)街道」、「カンタベリー城」（ 12世紀 ）、「 ウエストゲート （Westgate）」 （14世紀） 、 カンタベリー市の「 ハイ・ストリート （High Street）」などの風景が見えます。 今年度の英国夏季短期留学期間は8月3日から30日までになっています。

On August 11th (Sunday), five students from this year’s summer study abroad program learned about the history of Canterbury City and England while enjoying the brisk early-morning air. Today’s six-kilometer run was the last one this week, and through these visits to famous places and historical sites, students were able to experience the history of the UK firsthand. In the photos from this week, you can see the Watling Road from Roman times, Canterbury Castle, the Westgate, and High Street. This year’s summer study abroad program lasts from August 3rd to August 30th.
