Kogakkan University started the Faculty of Social Welfare at the new campus in Nabari City, Mie. In today's globalized society, those who will be engaged in the social welfare activities are required the English proficiency which enables them to communicate with the people all over the world who share the common interests. With this view in mind, a new facility of English learning which features the full use of computers and computer technology is installed at the start of the new campus. Almost all of the computer-based language learning facilities are those called CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning or Laboratory) system. The system installed at Nabari campus for English classes is not CALL system, but it is the new system I designed based on the concept of CELL. The pictures below illustrate the classroom scenes in one of my English classes.
